At your desk stretch

Fit Body:

At your desk arm stretch

If you’re sitting at a computer all day, do this arm stretch to relieve muscle tension. Extend your right arm straight out in front of you, with your palm facing down. Bend your wrist down until you feel a slight stretch in your hand and forearm. Gently support with your left hand. Hold for 10-30 seconds, then release. Repeat with your left arm straight out in front of you.

Stretch Break!

Arm Stretch

If you’ve been sitting at a computer for hours, it’s time for a stretch break. Stand up. Extend your right arm straight out in front of you with your arm parallel to the floor. Curl your fingers down and in. Hold for 10 seconds, then release. Next, extend your left arm straight out in front of you; curl your fingers down and in, then release.

After-Your-Computer Stretch

Stretch your Hands!

Been on your computer all day? Do this after-your-computer stretch to ease muscle tension in your hands, wrists and forearms! Place your palms together with your thumbs forward. Gently press your hands together. Pull your shoulders down and back.

Do this End-of-Workout Stretch

Corner Chest and Arm Stretch.

Do this feel-good stretch at the end of your workout.

Stand facing a corner. Place both hands on the wall about 10 inches off the side of your body. Step forward into the corner feeling a stretch across your chest, front shoulders and arms.
